Sunday 29th March, Palm Sunday, we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, as people laid coats and palm branches as a carpet before him.
This special day reminds us that Jesus is the King of all things. Despite a hero's welcome, the crowd soon turned on Jesus and he was sentenced to death, so today also reminds us of the fickle nature of human authority - and that Christians are called to fight against oppression, injustice and intolerance in our own time.
Join us to celebrate this special day at 10:30am.

Mothering Sunday is a day honouring mother churches, the church where one is baptised and becomes "a child of the church", celebrated since the Middle Ages in the United Kingdom, Ireland and some Commonwealth countries on the fourth Sunday in Lent. On Mothering Sunday, Christians have historically visited their mother church—the church in which they received the sacrament of baptism. Nowadays it involves lavishing Mums with gifts and attention and celebrating the women who have nurtured us throughout our lives (and why not!)? This year it is celebrated on March 15th and, as always, we shall be distributing a small posy of flowers to give to our mums. Do join us to celebrate Mothers everywhere and our Mother, the church.

Throughout the Parish, there is lots going on in the run up to Christmas . Please view our blog at the bottom of the home page for details of the services and where they are being held.

Sunday 13th April, Palm Sunday, we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, as people laid coats and palm branches as a carpet before him.
